Book Club with Lionheart Yogi
Good morning yogis! I'm excited to announce something special with you this week.
Those who know me well know I am borderline obsessed with reading and often juggle several books at once. At night I usually ask my husband several times if the light from my lamp is bothering him as he is trying to go to sleep (he always says no but I think he's just being nice).
For me, reading can be an escape and also a way for me to learn things about and connect with myself via other people's stories. This monthly series will share some of my favorites with you along with some thoughts on the following prompts:
The book in one line
How this book made me feel
A quote I am hanging on to
What I'm taking away from this book
The series will start next week and here is the lineup for the rest of 2021 for you:
June- Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb
July- Bravey by Alexi Pappas
August- Signs by Laura Lynne Jackson
September- Rising Strong by Brene Brown
October- The Unwinding of The Miracle by Julie Yip-Williams
November- When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi
December- Finding Meaning: The Sixth Stage of Grief by David Kessler
Feel free to order and join in, the book titles are linked. I am so looking forward to doing this with you!
